Paste this into your page's HTML. The calculator runs inside the frame, and a small link back to ToolsNode stays at the bottom.

How each total is built

Every drink starts from its own base (brewed coffee, espresso, matcha, chai concentrate or a blended frappé base, depending on the drink) and adds milk, flavor syrup, sweetener, drizzle, whipped cream and espresso shots as independent, additive contributions scaled to the size and quantity you choose. Because the model is purely additive, the “What changed?” panel can attribute an exact amount to each individual customization rather than guessing at interactions between them.

Why caffeine is calculated differently by drink type

Brewed coffee, cold brew, tea, chai and matcha carry their own base caffeine that scales with size on their own. Espresso-based drinks instead add a fixed amount per shot — with a separate, much lower estimate for decaf — so switching to decaf or adjusting shot count changes caffeine independently of the drink's size.

How to use this calculator

  1. Search or pick a drink, then choose its size and (where offered) hot/iced/frozen.
  2. Adjust milk, syrup pumps, sweetener, drizzle, whipped cream and espresso shots — only the controls that apply to your drink are shown.
  3. Read calories, protein, sugar and caffeine instantly, check what changed versus the default build, and open the full nutrition facts for everything else.
  4. Name your drink and share it — copy a link that restores this exact build, download a shareable card image, or use your device's native share sheet.

Additive nutrition model
Milk, syrup, sweetener, drizzle, whipped cream and espresso each contribute a fixed amount scaled to quantity/size — totals are a sum, with no interaction effects between add-ins.
Milk and whipped cream scale with size
Milk volume and whipped cream amount increase with cup size; syrup, sweetener and drizzle amounts are set directly by the pump/packet/on-off controls instead.
Caffeine per espresso shot
Each regular shot is modeled at roughly 75mg caffeine, each decaf shot at roughly 5mg — brewed, cold brew, tea, chai and matcha instead carry their own base caffeine that scales with size.

Questions

Is this the real nutrition data for any specific coffee shop's menu?

No. Every value here is an original, illustrative estimate built from typical publicly documented ranges for generic drink styles and add-ins (espresso, brewed coffee, common milks, flavored syrup, sweetener, whipped cream, drizzle) — not scraped or copied from any coffee chain's menu or nutrition PDF. Treat totals as a reasonable planning estimate, not a substitute for a specific retailer's published nutrition information.

Can I use this as a Starbucks calorie calculator?

You can use it to estimate calories, sugar and caffeine for Starbucks-style drinks — lattes, macchiatos, mochas, chai and matcha lattes, cold brew and blended mocha drinks — built from the same kinds of customizations (milk, syrup pumps, drizzle, whipped cream, extra shots). This tool is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sourced from Starbucks Corporation; it's an independent, illustrative estimator for generic drink styles, not official Starbucks nutrition data.

Why do my totals change when I switch milk types?

Milk is added per fluid ounce, scaled to how much milk a size of that drink typically uses, so switching from whole milk to a lower-calorie milk (like almond or nonfat) reduces calories, fat and sometimes protein — the "What changed?" panel shows exactly how much of the difference came from the milk swap versus any other customization.

How is caffeine calculated?

Brewed coffee, cold brew, tea, chai and matcha carry their own base caffeine that scales with size. Espresso-based drinks add a fixed amount per shot instead (with a separate, much lower estimate for decaf shots) — the number of shots itself defaults higher for larger sizes and can be adjusted independently.

What does "What changed?" actually compare against?

It compares your current build to that same drink and size with every option left at its default (default milk, default syrup/pumps, no added sweetener, default drizzle/whipped cream, default espresso shots). Because every add-in contributes independently, each line in that comparison is an exact delta for that one change — nothing is estimated or interaction-adjusted.

Does a shared drink link expose anything sensitive?

No — the link only encodes the drink, size and customization choices shown on the page (as a compact payload after the # in the URL, never sent to a server). Opening a shared link re-validates every value against the current drink list and safely falls back or adjusts anything that no longer applies, rather than silently rendering an invalid combination.
