Questions
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. Each tool reads your PDF in your browser, does the work there and hands the result back as a download.
Is there a limit on file size?
We don't set one. The real ceiling is your device's memory, and a few hundred pages of ordinary text is nowhere near it. Very large scanned files are the ones most likely to slow things down.
Why didn't compressing my PDF make it much smaller?
Compression mostly shrinks images, so a text-only PDF has little to give. A scan-heavy file can drop by 80% or more, while a 40-page report with a few logos might only lose a few percent.
