Expected views versus follower count
This tool prices from expected views, entered directly — it never converts a follower count into a view estimate on its own. If you want to derive expected views from followers, apply your own explicit view-rate assumption before entering the number here.
Benchmark provenance
No default CPM is built into this tool — you must supply your own low/high benchmark. Treat any number you enter as your own illustrative assumption unless you can name and date a real source for it.
Usage rights and exclusivity
How this is calculated
base = (Σ expectedViews / 1000) × CPM | final = base × (1 + Σ percentAdjustments) + Σ fixedAdjustmentsAll percentage adjustments (rights, exclusivity) are summed and applied once to the combined base across every deliverable — never compounded, and never re-applied per deliverable when a single rights grant covers the whole deal.
Worked example
20,000 expected views at an illustrative $10–$20 CPM: base = $200–$400. A +25% usage-rights adjustment plus a $50 fixed production charge: final = base × 1.25 + 50 = $300–$550.
Range and negotiation scenarios
The result is a range, not a single number, and is meant as a starting point for a negotiation conversation — print the summary to share it, but never present it as an objective, guaranteed fair price.
- Not a market-value promise
- This is a scenario planner, never a guarantee of fair or market value.
- No account access
- This tool never collects social account credentials or scrapes profiles.
Questions
Can follower count alone establish a fair price?
No. Follower count says nothing about actual reach — average views, engagement and audience quality vary enormously between creators with similar follower counts. This tool prices from expected views, not followers, and never silently converts one to the other without an explicit view-rate assumption you provide.
How are usage rights included?
As an explicit percentage adjustment on the base range, summed with any other percentage adjustments (like exclusivity) and applied once — never compounded multiplicatively and never silently bundled per deliverable when a single rights grant covers multiple deliverables in one deal.
